About
The Heritage Farmstead Museum, located in the heart of Plano, is the premier North Texas museum interpreting farm life and agricultural history. The four acres host the historic Farrell-Wilson Home, the Young House, a one-room schoolhouse, a blacksmith shed, a historic prairie garden and so much more. We offer a variety of educational programs and guided tours for school students in pre-K through 5th grade. In addition, the Museum is opened to the public Thursdays-Saturday, 10 am - 2 pm, for self-guided tours of the grounds and historic buildings and houses. The facility is available to rent for weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions.
