Come July, NTTA will publish the names and vital information of Top Toll Violators on its website.

Have you been running around on Dallas North Tollway without a TollTag? Haven't paid your toll invoices? North Texas Tollway Authority is looking for you.

In the organization's first ever roundup of tollroad scofflaws, NTTA plans to publish the names of North Texas' top toll violators on its homepage come July.

"Those on the 'Top Toll Violators' list have more than 100 outstanding tolls and have refused to pay invoices over at least 180 days," an NTTA press release stated. "The 'Top Toll Violators' list on NTTA.org will include the names, cities, zip codes, amounts owed and number of unpaid transactions by violators in a searchable PDF."

Last year NTTA did away with cash tolls when it launched the ZipCash system. Through a sophisticated camera recording system, ZipCash photographs the license plates of tollway drivers and then sends them a bill.

"Failure to pay a ZipCash bill results in additional fees to counter the cost of collection," the release states. "Eventually a customer who refuses to pay a ZipCash invoice receives a criminal citation and is required to appear in court."

As of June, courts have given NTTA the OK to pursue collection through lawsuits.
