It’s time to celebrate another North Texas Giving Day at Arlington Gives, a free concert headlined by Brad Thompson, a Grand Prairie native who’s been writing songs since he was 13. Brad and his crew work hard to deliver a great show for their audience every time they play, which has happened in barns, boats, and penthouses at locations in and out of Texas.  This musical group loves performing for community events where people can connect through music, making the Brad Thompson Band a perfect fit for the 2022 North Texas Giving Day celebration!

Opening for Brad Thompson is Emmeline, a “pint-sized singer-songwriter” from Dallas known for a soulful voice and infectious smile. Noted as “a must-see Texas artist” by the Dallas Morning News, Emmeline’s jazzy take on folk-pop delivers detailed, heartfelt stories about love, loss, hope, and triumph in the face of adversity.

The North Texas Giving Day concert is sponsored by the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation, a long-time supporter of free live music in our community. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome, or you can enjoy pre-show dining at delicious eateries around downtown Arlington. Don’t forget to make your donation to your favorite local charity at northtexasgivingday.org (on September 22, or you can schedule your donation in advance).
