In recognition of National Burn Awareness Week, Medical City Plano’s Burn & Reconstructive Center will host its annual Burn Prevention Fair geared to community members of all ages on Thursday, February 9.
Featured attractions at this free family friendly community event will include a Plano Fire Rescue fire truck, Sparky the fire dog, Medical City Healthcare ambulance and helicopter tours, and exhibits on the dangers of vaping and burn safety for home and work.

Medical City Plano’s Burn & Reconstructive Center offers compassionate care for all types of burn patients, including critically injured trauma patients suffering from multiple injuries as well as severe burns. The burn center is verified by The American Burn Association. Medical City Plano has one of only two verified burn centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and seven in Texas.
