Its Carnival time and you know that means King Cakes are here!

At Whole Foods Market, we are excited to feature five delicious options made by local bakery Lone Star: Chantilly Fruit, traditional Cinnamon, Cream Cheese, Pecan Praline and Raspberry Cream Cheese.

Each King Cake is dusted with purple, green and gold sugar, using plant-based dyes to achieve the colors. Wondering what these official colors represent? Purple = justice, green = faith, and gold = power. And did you know that our King Cakes are held to the same quality standards as every item in our store? Yep, that’s right; you can have your King Cake and eat it, too.
