TRINKETS TO TREASURES RETURNS FOR ITS 27th YEAR

COLLIN COUNTY’S LARGEST RESALE EVENT PRESENTED BY JUNIOR LEAGUE OF COLLIN COUNTY AT PLANO CENTRE

The Junior League of Collin County is hosting its 27th Annual Trinkets to Treasures resale event on April 2, 2016 with a new preview named PEEK & PURCHASE on Friday, April 1 from 7-9PM.  PEEK & PURCHASE allows shoppers to have first access to the popular furniture, electronics and fashions.  Admission to PEEK & PURCHASE is $15 and all of the proceeds benefit the Junior League of Collin County.   Saturday, April 2 admission is $5 for adults, children 10 and under free.

This is Collin County’s largest one-day resale event that serves as one of the major fundraisers for the Junior League of Collin County.  More than 100 volunteers contribute their time to organize the sale.   The proceeds benefit the many charitable programs and programs hosted by JLCC in the areas of family violence, children’s health, volunteerism, literacy, children and youth. 

Gently enjoyed items are collected from individuals throughout the community.     Shoppers will find a variety of new and gently used merchandise including adult and children’s clothing, furniture, appliances, collectibles, home electronics, toys, sports equipment, office equipment, and much more.

A unique aspect of Trinkets to Treasures is the opportunity for nonprofit clients who are in need and facing issues such as family violence, recovery, transition housing and social services are given family of four free admission and $25 gift cards to shop.
