MODEL APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR THE  24TH ANNUAL AMERICAN GIRL FASHION SHOW® PRESENTED BY JUNIOR LEAGUE OF COLLIN COUNTY

Submit a Model Application for the American Girl Fashion Show by July 31, 2015

The Junior League of Collin County (JLCC) is seeking girls to participate in the American Girl Fashion Show® on October 17-18, 2015 at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas.  Model applications are available online and must be submitted by July 31, 2015.  Girls should be between the ages of 6 and 12 who are able to wear a size 6x or size 10.  There is no previous modeling experience necessary.  Models will enjoy the opportunity to learn more about the American Girl® Dolls’ heritage, practice poise, teamwork and self-confidence – all of which are values embodied by American Girl® Dolls.  All of the models in the show are from the local Collin County community. Complete details on model requirements are available online here. Deadline is July 31, 2015.

The American Girl Fashion Show® is a fun-filled event for girls and their families, friends and favorite dolls to celebrate the experience of being a girl. The Fashion Show will look back on the girls of yesterday and also showcase girls of today including the American Girl® Doll of the Year, Grace, an aspiring baker who dreams of owning her own bakery.  To emphasize Grace’s goal of one day owning a business, this year’s JLCC American Girl Fashion Shows® will showcase women entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses in the Collin County community.  The shows are open to the public and make for a perfect “Daughter/Granddaughter Outing.” Attendees bring their American Girl® dolls and enjoy the color presentation of historic and contemporary fashions while enjoying elegant refreshments and raffle prizes. Through the American Girl Fashion Show ® attendees learn how clothing has changed over the years and reflect history, culture and girls individual style.

Sponsorships are available.  For questions or additional information, contact: AmericanGirlFashionShow@jlcollincounty.org or call 972-769-0557. Tickets and show times will be released on the Junior League of Collin County’s website in the coming weeks.
