Joseph’s Coat, a program of the Seven Loaves Community that provides gently used clothing to registered food pantry clients, is holding its annual coat giveaway on November 8 and is in need of new or very gently used coats in all sizes with special emphasis on children’s coats for ages 5-14. Seven Loaves will also accept monetary donations so that they may purchase the coats.

Seven Loaves Community, which serves over 1,800 monthly through the Food Pantry, was established in 2009 to begin providing immediate food relief to the food insecure. Seven Loaves Community now includes Joseph’s Coat, a clothing closet, providing an average of 4,000 garments monthly; Project Hope, a mentoring program to support women in crisis; and Plus One, a new initiative providing hygiene products to clients.
