Hop on over to Sachse this weekend for some of the most fun Easter activities in North Texas hosted by the City of Sachse Parks and Recreation Department.  The celebrations get underway with the Easter Egg Scramble at 10 am on Saturday, March 28 at Heritage Park located at 4408 Hudson Drive.

Children ages 2-10 can see the Easter Bunny who will hide candy and special "prize" eggs for three age categories:  2 to 4 years of age; 5 to 7 years of age; and 8 to 10 years of age.  If it rains, the event will be held on Sunday, March 29, at 2:00 PM, at Heritage Park.

Next up is the Doggie Bone Hunt at 7:30 pm on Saturday, March 28 at Heritage Park.

Bring your dog out to the park for doggie treats, prizes, and a great time.  Dogs will be divided based on weight and will be required to be on a leash at all times.  Your precious pup can compete for best dressed and cutest.  Bring your camera and take a picture of your pet with the Easter Bunny to remember the occasion.

Calling all kids age 5-13 for the Flashlight Egg Hunt at 8:15 pm on Saturday, March 28 at Heritage Park.  Grab your flashlight, make sure it has fresh batteries, and come join the fun in the dark.  Search for eggs stuffed with candy.  Find the Golden Eggs and win a special prize.
