Prestonwood Christian Academy Honor Choir students spread Christmas cheer Wednesday as they sang at Dallas' NorthPark Center during the busy lunch hour.  Immediately following their performance, the 115 students returned to Plano to perform for the residents at Prestonwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Singing for the residents is a favorite holiday tradition for the fourth through sixth graders, and one the residents look forward to as well!

The mission of Prestonwood Christian Academy’s vocal music program is to expose every child to multiple aspects of music, to enrich the PCA Community with a healthy and vibrant artistic culture and to glorify God as they strive for excellence in the development of the musical gifts He has given.  PCA’s elite Honor Choir is comprised of students in fourth through sixth grade, and gives annual Christmas and spring performances at PCA choir concerts, as well as community and festival performances throughout the school year. This group rehearses on a weekly basis and is exposed to a variety of repertoire. The Honor Choir has a strong presence within the PCA community and an ongoing tradition of excellence.

Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano has more than 1,600 students enrolled in Pre-K3 through twelfth grade.
