On Saturday, Feb. 1, the Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) Lady Trojans eighth grade basketball team defeated Argyle Middle School, 23-21, to win their league tournament championship for the second year in a row.

Earlier in the season, Argyle defeated the Lady Trojans, accounting for the girls’ first loss in two years of middle school basketball. Averaging 48 points per game, while holding opponents to an average of 24 points, the girls finished their season with a 16-1 record.

Overall, the team has maintained a nearly perfect record of 36-1 throughout the past two years.
