Get ready, Allen! Your newest and most unique recreation center is opening its doors to the public, and you're invited to celebrate!

The Stephen G. Terrell Recreation Center (STRC) will host a grand open house event on Saturday, Jan. 13th. The festivities kick off with a dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting in the morning, followed by open house fun for everyone from noon to 6 p.m.

This is your chance to:

• Tour the impressive facility: Get a first-hand look at the 149,000 square feet of space dedicated to fitness, learning, and play. See the cutting-edge fitness equipment, outdoor fitness deck, group exercise classrooms, supervised playroom, indoor walk/jog track, batting cages, video gaming area, and the amazing Tree House multi-story indoor playground!
• Meet the trainers and instructors: Get to know the friendly faces who will be helping you reach your fitness goals and have fun along the way.
• Become a charter member: Take advantage of the final opportunity to join as a charter member and enjoy exclusive benefits like early access to the facility from Jan. 14 – 28th.
• Experience the fun: Participate in family-friendly activities like bounce houses and open gym play, or drop into a group exercise class to feel the STRC vibe. From yoga and barre to family boot camp and cycle classes, there's something for everyone!
