Due to cold temperatures and high electric use, ERCOT has implemented steps to protect the power grid.  This may include rotating power outages with temporary interruption of electric service. This will primarily impact residential and small business users.

In the event Plano citizens lose power today, all Plano Public Libraries are open and warm and available for use until your power is restored. Check the City of Plano's website for conservation tips to preserve power and avoid temporary outages.
