Here’s a treat! On October 4, Collin Creek Mall presents a red-carpet runway show featuring cats and dogs in Halloween costumes. The homeless animals are from the Richardson Humane Society and are available for adoption by qualified individuals. Volunteers from the organization will be in Center Court at the shopping center from 12 to 3 p.m. There will be red-carpet runway shows at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 p.m.

Each animal is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, heartworm tested and treated if necessary; and started on heartworm preventative. All potential adopters must be 21 years or older. The organization conducts a home visit before the adoption is approved. Adoption fees, payable in cash or by check to RHS, are $150 for dogs and $100 for cats. The adoption fee for senior pets is $75.

Richardson Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization that has rescued and found homes for more than 2,000 pets since 2000.
