With families, friends and fans in attendance, walkers in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day will start their 60-mile journey at Collin Creek Mall on November 7. Walkers will arrive between 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. and the Opening Ceremony will begin at 7 a.m. Spectators will cheer the participants on as they begin their walk to end breast cancer one step at a time.

The Opening Ceremony will be held in the parking lot on the west side (off Alma Road) of Collin Creek Mall, near JCPenney. The Closing Ceremony will be held November 9 at 4:30 p.m. at Fair Park at 3718 Pennsylvania Avenue.

“We are pleased to once again welcome walkers and spectators in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day. This is the fifth year that Collin Creek Mall has participated and we welcome the opportunity to support this group. It is exhilarating to be here for the Opening Ceremony when the walkers take off, with friends and family cheering them on,” says Leanne Lowry, general manager of the shopping center. “We wish all the walkers well as they make their way, helping towards the reachable goal of ending breast cancer.”
