Plano-Richardson Alumnae Panhellenic (PRAP) will host its annual Sorority Recruitment Forum on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Christ United Methodist Church, 3101 Coit Road, Plano (SW corner of Parker and Coit).  The Forum will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, with registration beginning at 1:30 PM.  All junior and senior girls and their parents are invited to attend this educational event, which will offer helpful information about the process of sorority recruitment.

There will be an educational session offering helpful information about sorority recruitment.  Get answers to questions about the benefits of sorority membership, recruitment registration, alumnae recommendations, what to wear, the impact of social media, and much more!  Breakout groups will follow the presentation, where attendees can ask specific questions about recruitment at different universities.

In addition PRAP awards scholarships to graduating seniors as well as active collegiates from Plano or Richardson high schools.  Scholarship information will be available at the forum.

Affiliation with a sorority offers collegiate young women the opportunity to become involved with a group of peers at their college where they can participate in social, philanthropic, athletic, community, and campus activities.  Sorority membership emphasizes academics, encourages loyalty and commitment, and develops time management and leadership skills.  Sorority membership is for life, and the bonds of friendship made last well beyond the college years.

Forum admission is free.  For more information about the event, recruitment registration with PRAP, or PRAP scholarships, please visit praptx.org.
