Next week on Tuesday, October 23, Plano firefighters will "strap up" to support local breast cancer warriors. This time, they're not donning firefighting gear. Instead, each firefighter will pull on a bra in support of the 6th Annual Battle of the Bras fundraising event, hosted by Women's Council of Realtors Collin County. 

The fundraiser will provide financial support to Women Rock, Inc. The company works to save lives by increasing breast cancer awareness and teaching people about early cancer detection. They also provide support to survivors and caregivers as they heal. With Woman Rock's help, more women are receiving mammograms and access to much-needed physicians, household support, and hope. 

Each bra at the event is uniquely decorated and will be modeled by the Collin County Firefighters, then auctioned off to the highest bidder. The event will take place at the Plano Event Center starting at 6:00 PM.
