Summer is the perfect season to adopt a new pet into the household and the Richardson Humane Society has the perfect animal for you. On Saturday, June 15 from 1 to 4 p.m., the organization will be at Collin Creek Mall showcasing homeless animals that are available for adoption by qualified individuals. Interested individuals can see the animals in Center Court and start the adoption process.

Each dog is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, heartworm tested and treated if necessary; and started on heartworm preventative. All potential adopters must be 21 years or older. The organization conducts a home visit before the adoption is approved. Adoption fees, payable in cash or by check to RHS, are $150 for dogs and $100 for cats. The adoption fee for senior pets is $75.

Future dates when the Richardson Humane Society adoption volunteers will be Collin Creek Mall are Saturdays, July 13 and August 10.
