Four students from Plano West competed in the NAQT National Championship last weekend in Atlanta.   In doing so, they beat the two time defending champs from the elite Hunter College High School in New York and former champions from LASA in Austin along with 351 other teams over the two day tournament.  NAQT questions are academic and focus on History, Math (calculus and statistics), Science (biology, zoology, physics and chemistry) Geography, Literature, Music, Art, Linguistics and Philosophy--the questions are very tough.   The team is comprised of Thomas Gioia, Jaskaran Singh, Abhinav Godavarthi and Avi Ackermann.
