Faith Lutheran School Golf Tournament Raises More Than $8,000

Faith Lutheran School conducted its eighth annual golf tournament on Friday, October 4 at McKinney's Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club.

"This golf tournament is an excellent opportunity for us to raise funds for our school, raise awareness about our school and its mission, and for us to simply gather for fun and fellowship together," said Faith Lutheran School Headmaster Rev. Stephen W. Kieser of Wylie. "Proceeds will go toward our new school archery program and will also benefit our tuition assistance program."

The event raised more than $8,000 and post-event donations were still coming in following the event. Funds raised will be used toward the school's new archery program and other athletics programming.
