Faith Lutheran School students visit Heritage Farmstead Museum

This week, students from Faith Lutheran School visited Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano. Preschool, pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students learned how to milk a cow, wash clothes on a washboard and grind corn for chicken feed. Students also listened to stories, played games and explored the Farmstead's pumpkin patch.

The Heritage Farmstead Museum, a four-acre historic site consisting of a restored, 14-room 1891 Victorian farmhouse with its original outbuildings, interprets rural life on the North Texas prairie between 1890 and 1925.
