Water Polo official UIL sport; free clinic Dec. 7

On October 21, water polo became an official UIL Varsity Sport in Texas beginning in fall 2021. UIL is the University Interscholastic League and it oversees the vast majority of athletic, musical, and academic contests for public primary and secondary schools in our state. No other sport has been added since wrestling some 20 years ago. This is a big win for Texas and for water polo, and Pegasus Water Polo has been and will continue to be a catalyst for growth of water polo in Dallas.

Pegasus Water Polo Academy will seed players into all of the high school programs in our area. New varsity water polo teams will mean a much bigger recruiting pool for national team pipelines and NCAA programs; improved coaching training, and tournaments visiting the Lone Star state.

Free clinics are planned for December 7 in Dallas and Plano.
Girls and boys ages 7-17 interested in learning about water polo are encouraged to attend the free clinic hosted by Pegasus on Saturday.
