Garzillo is a chiropractor with more than 28 years of experience and certification by the Texas and New Mexico Board of Chiropractic Examiners, as well as a sought-after speaker on injury prevention, physical conditioning and injury rehabilitation.  He co-authored a published research study on “Obesity and Low Back Pain” and wrote the book, Jailbreak from Back Pain.

Garzillo’s professional memberships include the American Chiropractic Association, the Texas Chiropractic Association and the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture. Prior to his involvement with the Arthritis Foundation, he’s held leadership positions with a variety of community service and professional organizations in the health and wellness field.

The work of the Arthritis Foundation South Central Region supports the organization’s fight against arthritis, the nation’s most common cause of disability.  Currently, 50 million Americans (one in five) are living with arthritis pain every minute of every day. The Arthritis Foundation leads initiatives to support research to find a cure, provide public health/educational programs for those who have arthritis and continue its advocacy efforts throughout the South Central Region and across the U.S.
