Plano city officials invite you to join the conversation on April 18 between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. as they discuss the 2013 Bond Referendum during the second Plano Town Hall featuring a call-in option.
Some 40,000 phones will receive a call inviting citizen participation. If you do not receive a call, you may dial in to (888) 409-5380 to listen to the live discussion and ask your question. You can also listen online at www.plano.gov or attend the meeting in the Senator Florence Shapiro Council Chambers at Plano Municipal Center, 1520 K Avenue.
Mayor Phil Dyer will moderate the meeting, during which Budget Director Karen Rhodes-Whitley, Parks and Recreation Director Amy Fortenberry and Public Works Director Gerald Cosgrove will answer questions related to projects in their service areas.
The Bond Election, on Saturday, May 11, has five propositions that total $98,313,000. The propositions focus on street improvements, park improvements, recreation center renovations and expansion, public infrastructure improvements and revocation of bonds previously approved for a creative and performing arts facility.
