October 2022 (Plano) – Teammates and future residents of The Outlook at Windhaven gathered for a groundbreaking celebration at Stonebriar Country Club, literally “digging in” for the occasion. Being built on 18.2 acres northwest of West Spring Creek Parkway and Windhaven Parkway, The Outlook at Windhaven is the newest senior living community from Forefront Living, a faith-based nonprofit organization.
The celebratory brunch included a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar, as well as a photo booth for VIPs to commemorate the occasion complete with hard hats, shovels, and a trough of fresh dirt from the construction site. Remarks were given by Jennifer Campbell, Director of Sales and Marketing; Neil Foote, Forefront Living Board Chairman; and Scott Polzin, Chief Operating Officer of Forefront Living.
The Outlook at Windhaven will be a gated community with 153 independent living apartment homes, 30 independent living cottage homes, 32 assisted living apartment homes, and 24 memory support suites. With 153 independent living apartments on five floors, it will feature 14 unique floor plans ranging from 900-1,950 square feet. The 30 independent living cottages will feature two unique floor plan choices ranging from 1,800-2,000 square feet and will include front porches, private courtyards, and attached garages. Additionally, the campus will also include a state-of-the-art clubhouse building with dining, fitness, entertainment, and other lifestyle amenities.
