On Thursday, July 4, Collin Creek Mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Some retailers, department stores, restaurants and entertainment venues will observe different hours. Shoppers are advised to call for exact opening and closing times.

Weekend Blood Drive. In the American spirit of helping others, on Saturday and Sunday, July 6 and 7, Collin Creek Mall will host a blood drive for Carter BloodCare. The mobile blood donation unit will be in the parking lot on the east side near Sears from 12 to 6 p.m. both days. Individuals who donate will receive a coupon for a free pint of Blue Bell Ice Cream and accrue Carter BloodCare Great Rewards points.

Walk-in donors are welcome, but individuals can make an appointment by calling 817-412-5245. Donors with appointments will be taken first. 

Potential donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 years old with a parent’s consent, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good general health. Photo ID is required. There is no upper age limit for donors, and most medications do not interfere with donor eligibility.
