Gift of Lights & Snow at TMS Seeking Nominations for 'Gifts of Christmas'

As the Holiday season approaches, The Gift of Lights & Snow at Texas Motor Speedway wants to share the joy with several deserving families in North Texas with Gifts of Christmas. Each family selected will be a guest of honor at the VIP night, including free admission into Gift of Lights & Snow at Texas Motor Speedway. In addition, each deserving family will receive a decorated Christmas tree and an additional ticket to come back and visit the Gift of Lights & Snow during the 2013 season.

“Christmas is the perfect time to reach out and bless those who need a little support and joy in their lives,” said David Fred, CEO of Winterland, producer of Gift of Lights. “Maybe you know a single mom who is struggling to provide for her kids this holiday season. Or perhaps it’s a teacher or coach who has really gone the extra mile. We want to hear their story so we can be a special blessing to them.”

All nominations must be received by midnight Sunday, November 10, 2013. Nominated families from previous years are not eligible to win. Simply fill out the nomination form at http://tinyurl.com/lights2013. Your information will be kept confidential.

Winners will be notified by phone or email no later than November 14, 2013. The winning families will be posted on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/GiftofLightsTexas and www.giftoflightstms.com.

Gift of Lights & Snow opens to the public November 22 and will run through January 5, 2014. In its third year at Texas Motor Speedway, Gift of Lights & Snow is a drive-thru holiday spectacular show featuring more than two million LED lights and 600 unique and exciting holiday displays across 1.7 miles at Texas Motor Speedway (3545 Lone Star Circle, Fort Worth). New for 2013, in partnership with SnowMagic, there will be a snowy wonderland featuring snow tubing, snow play and a snowball gallery for active outdoor winter enjoyment.

Admission to the Lights attraction is only $15 per car Monday - Thursday or $20 per car Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Snowpark admission is available on an a la carte basis with combo rates available. Proceeds benefit Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth, Tarrant Area Food Bank, and KLTY Christmas Wish.
