Have you ever wanted to peek behind a neighbor’s fence to see their garden? The Richardson Woman’s Club is offering that opportunity on Saturday April 24th. Full tours of 5 beautiful, neighborhood gardens will benefit Richardson’s Community Outreach and RISD senior scholarships. The tours will be held from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm for the price of $20.
The day will be filled with an array of activities in addition to the garden tours, beginning at 10 am and ending at 4 pm, in the Woman’s Club House at 2005 N. Cliffe Dr., Richardson. There will be a plant and gift shop which will include veggies, herbs and potted flowers, as well as wind chimes, bird houses, pickles, jam and an original watercolor painting. In addition, master gardeners will present seminars on relevant subjects. Check out our website for specific topics and times.
Box lunches may be purchased for $12 and must be ordered by April 16th. Lunch boxes may be picked up at Founders Hall from 12:30 until 1:30. Chocolate Angel will be the caterer and the boxes will contain the salad sampler, a scone and a cookie. Bottles of water will be included. Weather permitting, lunch may be enjoyed at picnic tables on the grounds or “grab and go”.

Please note that masks will be required while in the Club House and Founders Hall.
