This Saturday, April 23, the Heroes for Children 5K & Family Fun Run takes place at Hall Park, 6801 Gaylord Parkway in Frisco, Texas beginning at 8:00 a.m. The event is a family-friendly race and party to raise awareness and funds for families affected by pediatric cancer in Texas. Additional activities include a family fun zone, community sponsored events and a Gold Go Gold Art exhibit. 5K runners will receive an event T-shirt and the first 300 finishers will receive a special Heroes for Gold Ribbon medal.

There is still plenty of time left to register! The 5K entry fee is $40 for adults and $25 for those 18-years-old and younger. The Family Fun Run fee is $25 for adults and $10 for those 18-years-old and younger. Registration can be found at https://www.heroesforchildren.org/5k-funrun-frisco.
