Collin Creek Mall Hosts Pet Adoption For Richardson Humane Society On November 1

This year, celebrate Thanksgiving by sharing your blessings and adopting a homeless animal from the Richardson Humane Society. Cats and dogs that are ready for adoption by qualified individuals will be at Collin Creek Mall on November 1 from 12 to 3 p.m. Interested individuals will find volunteers from the organization in Center Court at the shopping center.

Each animal is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, heartworm tested and treated if necessary; and started on heartworm preventative. All potential adopters must be 21 years or older. The organization conducts a home visit before the adoption is approved. Adoption fees, payable in cash or by check to RHS, are $150 for dogs and $100 for cats. The adoption fee for senior pets is $75.

Richardson Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization that has rescued and found homes for more than 2,000 pets since 2000. RHS is a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit Texas corporation dedicated to helping homeless animals and educating the community on responsible pet ownership.
