Make a Wish participant Lexton of Whitewright, Texas, with the Lotus Evora 400

The new 2017 Lotus Evora 400, with an MSRP of $100,000, made a brief (6 hour) pit stop in Plano Thursday, February 4 on its North American tour. The completely redesigned sports car features a lighter body and a 400-horsepower engine, making it the fastest production car Lotus has ever made.

17-year-old Make-A-Wish participant Lexton of Whitewright, Texas had the unique the opportunity to see the car up close and even got to ride in the car with a Lotus driver. Although he didn’t get to experience the top speed of 186 mph while in the car, he enjoyed a taste of the acceleration that propels the Evora 400 from 0-60 in just 4.1 seconds.  Lexton has Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and his Wish was to ride in an exotic car.

A high-performance sports car, the Lotus Evora 400 will start production this year with deliveries to Park Place Lotus of Plano beginning this May.
