PDQ to open 50th restaurant in Plano on December 13

PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality) is set to open its 50th restaurant and third Dallas-Forth Worth area restaurant in Plano on December 13.

PDQ specializes in fresh food fast and is known for their hand-breaded chicken tenders, hand-tossed salads, made-to-order sandwiches, fresh-cut fries and hand-spun milkshakes with dine-in, drive thru or catering options.

Although the fast casual restaurant is also frequently referred to as “Pretty Darn Quick,” the brand prides itself on the quality control that goes into the food preparation. All menu items are made to order on site with the freshest ingredients and all generally served within 2 minutes. The fresh-cut fries are cut in-store from fresh whole potatoes, and the 12 signature dipping sauces and salad dressings are made daily in-house to guarantee quality.

The Plano restaurant will be the third Dallas-Forth Worth area PDQ, with two restaurants already in Frisco and Murphy.

“With restaurants already established in both Frisco and Murphy, bringing the PDQ brand to North Texas has proven a great success,” said PDQ Chief Marketing and PR Officer Jeff Kamis. “The Dallas-Fort Worth area is a strong market and we plan to continue to expand PDQ throughout this community in the near future.”

PDQ Plano will celebrate the grand opening beginning at 10:30 a.m. on December 13th, with live entertainment, balloon twisters and more. PDQ Plano will be open every day of the week with hours of 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Plano restaurant, located at 1151 Preston Rd., will feature an open kitchen, 3,300 square feet of space and will seat 93 people. For more information, please visit www.eatpdq.com.
