For those that have no plans on Valentine's Day other then to snuggle up on the couch with the pooch, consider braving the cold on Monday, February 13 and checking out "An Evening for Dog Lovers" in Old Downtown Plano. Your dog is always there for you through thick and thin, so take the night to celebrate and cherish them.

The event is being presented by Erin Hannigan from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and photographer Teresa Berg. There will be a multi-media concert and silent auction benefitting Paws in the City. The silent auction will contain dog-related art and other fun items for dog lovers.

Paws in the City is dedicated to ending the overpopulation, abuse and neglect of Dallas-area dogs and cats. Their primary goal is for every adoptable dog and cat to get a loving home. Aside from the SPCA, Paws in the City saves more dogs and cats from the City of Dallas animal shelther than any other organization.

Tickets for this event are $50 and include admission to the concert, wine and some fabulous dessert. This is one event that you and your dog don't want to miss.
