Students Must Keep Up With Dress Code Despite Summer's Approach

Everyone knows that the weather in Texas is volatile and can change by the hour. However, one thing is for certain – the Texas summer is on its way. However, the impending heat doesn’t mean students can just disregard the dress code and wear whatever they want. Breaking dress code could mean being sent home and for seniors, it could mean losing exemption of finals.

When it comes to shorts and skirts, longer is better. All shorts, dresses and skirts must be fingertip or longer. Pants and shorts are not allowed to sag and should not have any holes or tears.

Students are also not allowed to wear head coverings of any sort at school. That includes hats, caps, hoods, and bandannas. Any student found in violation of dress code will be sent to I.S.S. until their parents bring appropriate clothing for the student to wear.
