After early positive results from the launch of Dr Pepper 10, Dr Pepper Snapple is prepared to give several  of its other soda brands the same 'Ten' treatment. Beginning as early as January 2012, the company will begin testing 7 Up Ten, Sunkist Ten, A&W Ten, Canada Dry Ten and RC Ten. However, the only place that one can find these drinks will be Columbus (Ohio), Des Moines (Iowa) and central Pennsylvania.

The idea for the 'Ten' brand was a way to find a middle ground between regular soft drinks and diet soft drinks. Many consumers stopped drinking sodas because of the heavy calorie count but also disliked the taste of diet drinks.

Chief Executive Larry Young, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, said, "Now they [consumers] can come back, drink our 'Ten' products and enjoy the full flavor of our brands and not worry about the caloric intake. You have to keep the doctor happy."
