Plano has been at or neat the top of multiple rankings this year. While some are good (living longer), other aren't so great (eating more fast food). However, Forbes has released yet another ranking that has Plano at the top and will make a lot of residents very pleased.
According to Forbes, Plano is the safest city in all of America. The suburb north of Dallas has the lowest violent crime rate in the country and is sixth best in car fatality rate. The city has a strong community watch program and has a police force made up of young, capable college graduates.
