In an attempt to collect tolls from top toll violators, the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) has released a list of tollway users with more than 100 unpaid toll transactions since Jan. 1, 2010.

Millions of dollars in owed tolls are shown on the Top Toll Violators list from residents throughout North Texas, with the top violator alone owing $179,596.43 in unpaid fees.

According to a NTTA press release, listed violators have cycled through more than 180 days of invoices from the NTTA, refusing to pay fees, and are now subject to further enforcement action.  "Customers who refuse to pay a ZipCash invoice are subject to a criminal citation and could be required to appear in court. In June, the NTTA Board also authorized the Authority to file civil lawsuits against repeat toll violators."

If customers see their name on the Top Toll Violators list or have questions about their account, they should call the NTTA customer service center at 972-818-6882.
