Flippin’ Pizza NY Pies and Slices opened their first location in Texas to a packed house of pizza lovers and TeamConnor supporters, the beneficiary of the grand opening event. Rated as one of the “best pizza” joints coast to coast, customers from around all Collin County, stopped in Plano to see what this fresh four ingredient, no oil, sugar, or high-fructose corn syrup, water filtered pizza was all about. 

Flippin’ Pizza chose TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation as their non-profit recipient for their first Texas grand opening and donated $1,000 to TeamConnor. Festivities included live music, free slices of hand-tossed NY pies, complimentary drinks, raffles and a chance to win free pies for a year.     

TeamConnor is dedicated to raising awareness and funding research projects to find a cure for all childhood cancers. The organization has raised more than $2 million for childhood cancer research.

TeamConnor hosts several other events throughout the year to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research, including, 6^thAnnual National Childhood Cancer Awareness Concert at Watters Creek; September 16^th. TeamConnor’s Coins for Kids with Cancer® program raises funds in schools, churches, offices, and organizations across the country to help fund childhood cancer research.
