Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco is hosting the Crossroads Career Transition Workshop- "Summer Edition" on Friday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The free workshop is open to members of the local and surrounding community who have experienced job loss, are going through a job transition or are seeking new employment opportunities.
Participants should bring resumes and business cards. The workshop will include lectures containing strategies and key elements of the job search from experts in the following categories:
- Resumes - Dirk Spencer
- Personal Resiliency - Locke Alderson
- Networking - Foster Williams
- Cover Letters - Lori Davis
- Social Media - Gail Houston
- Power Interviewing - Gayle Bridgeman
- Interview Strategy - Rex Saoit
- Resume Critiques - Lori, Rex, Gail, Gayle, Dirk, and Locke
