City of Plano Sustainability & Environmental Services is teaching kids to "Live Green in Plano" at an early age.  On Tuesday, July 17, the Environmental Education Center is hosting the Pre-K series, Wartville Wizard & Litter Toss at 9 a.m.

During the program, the storyteller will litter the area while reading a story that centers around a town of frequent litterers.  Following the reading, the group will discuss the negative effects of litter on the environment.

Registration fees are $3 per child/student within Plano, and $4 per child/student outside of Plano.  One adult per registered family group is required to attend the event.
