Beginning June 26^th, Christ United Methodist Church is hosting Vacation Bible School for Elementary-aged children. This camp is a wonderful way children to enjoy four days of fellowship as they attend assemblies and engage in fun activities with their peers. This year’s theme is “Fruit of the Spirit,” and attendees will learn how their actions affect those around them.

“Each day begins with an assembly to sing about the fruits of the spirit, and then the guides take the kids to their different activities,” says Kathy Griffith, Director of Children’s Ministry. Throughout the day, the children attend different classes with their small groups to explore a wide variety of Bible-related themes. Crafting, drama, and “missions” classes are just a few of the cool subjects the kids will get to explore. “We put more energy into VBS than we do into any other camp here at Christ United,” Griffith remarks. “The entire staff is excited, and we can’t wait to see your kids here!”
