If you're looking to give a furry friend a forever home this weekend, head to Collin County Animal Services in McKinney, because the organization is hosting a Pet Adoption Special featuring discounted adoptions from Thursday, May 24 through Sunday, May 27 for any military, police, fire or emergency medical service worker.

All dogs and cats will have an adoption fee of only $25 throughout the weekend, with proof of profession.  The fee includes the cost to spay or neuter, vaccinations and a microchip.

Hours for CCAS are as follows:

• Thursday, May 24 - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday, May 25 - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Saturday, May 26 - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday, May 27 - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
