On Friday, February 10 for their “Dressing Rehearsal,” Snappy Salads will ask guests to donate $5 to the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) in return for a salad and drink. The money collected will assist NTFB with their mission to feed hungry children, seniors, and families.

The restaurant has been closed for remodeling and will reopen to the public on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m.  Although the kitchen received the majority of the upgrades, guests will notice new updated design elements.

Guests will be able to select their favorite Menu Salad, like the number-one selling Grilled Avocado Salad with Chipotle Lime Vinaigrette, or create their own salad with the option to add proteins such as wild-caught Sockeye Salmon or grass-fed tenderloin and a drink of their choosing such as an organic Fair Trade Black Iced Tea or Americane Cola from Oak Cliff Beverage Works made with real cane sugar.

“This is a win for everyone,” said Chris Dahlander, Snappy Salads CEO. “The Dressing Rehearsal gives our team practice in a new environment, raises money and awareness for the NTFB, and shows our appreciation for our guests who get to enjoy their favorite salad and drink for $5.”

“A big thank you to Snappy Salads for championing the issue of hunger,” said Simon Powell Interim President and CEO of the North Texas Food Bank. “There are more than 800,000 food insecure people in North Texas. As the NTFB works to close the current meal gap and provide 92 million meals by 2025, we know that innovative partnerships like this one will help us reach and surpass this goal.”

The Dressing Rehearsal will take place from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017.  The address is 5930 W. Park Blvd., Plano, TX 75093.  No reservations necessary.
