Both the Men's and Women's Varsity basketball teams at JPIIHS will play for a spot in the state finals this Friday, February 28 at Mansfield Timberview High School.

The Women's team will try to defend its state title from 2013, starting with the semifinal game against Prestonwood Christian Academy. The Men's team will try to win its first title, beginning with a semifinal game against St. Pius.

Seniors Jackson Forbes, a Princeton commit, and Bola Alade are expected to lead the Men's team, and Claire Ricketts, an Iowa State commit, might see action after missing the later part of the season with a hand injury.
