Live Nation today announced the day-by-day line-ups for the upcoming Suburbia Music Festival. Set for May 3-4 in Plano at the Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve just 30 minutes north of Dallas, the festival will feature acclaimed rock band Alabama Shakes on Saturday, while hip-hop music superstar J. Cole and the Grammy Award winning DJ and dance music producer David Guetta will take the main stages on Sunday. The complete line-up can be found here.
The Suburbia Music Festival will also open up single day tickets allowing fans to attend any one day of the festival. A presale for "Single Day Any Day" tickets ($54.50* each) will begin on March 6 starting at 9 a.m. local time through midnight via Livenation.com, Ticketmaster.com, the Dallas Observer and through participating artist social media platforms and websites.
"Single Day Any Day" tickets will be available to the general public ($59.50* each) starting March 7 at 12 p.m. local time. Two-day general admission and two-day VIP passes are still available.
Joining the Alabama Shakes on May 3 line-up will be the legendary rockers, Violent Femmes, along with The Dandy Warhols and Third Eye Blind among many others including Big Gigantic, Yelawolf and more. The May 4 line-up will also include Tegan & Sara, Slightly Stoopid and Hoodie Allen. The full day-by-day line-up of world class music artists for the Suburbia Music Festival is below.
On March 26, the Dallas House of Blues will host the Battle Of Suburbia. Local music artists and bands from around the area will compete for a chance to earn a coveted spot on the Suburbia Music Festival line-up and live television performance on WFAA's Good Morning Texas (ABC). All artists interested in participating are encouraged to submit web-based links to music, videos and artist websites via email to battle@suburbiamusicfest.com. An internal panel of industry professionals will select the participants for the March 26 event from those submissions.
