McMillen catcher Ralph French hits a 2-run homer to tie the game in the top of the 7th inning.

On April 8, the McMillen Lions baseball team took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning against the Highland Park Scots. Both teams battled to keep the other team from scoring, but the Scots took a 3-1 lead in the 5th inning.

McMillen catcher Ralph French hit a 2-run homer over the left-centerfield wall at the top of the 7th inning to tie the game. Second baseman J.D. Suarez hit an RBI to score Johnny Gonzalez for the go ahead run.

Nick Alvey pitched two scoreless innings to clinch the McMillen victory 4-3.
