Plano will be Remembering and honoring our Military, those that gave some and those that gave all May 28th, 2018. The event will be held at City of Plano's Memorial Park, 2101 Bay Hill Drive. Upon the arrival of the patriotic motorcycle riders, each holding a flag during the ceremony supplied by Stephen Parry and the Plano West Rotary Club.
Each flag represents Plano citizen who lost their lives while serving from WWI to our current conflicts.
We are very honored to have Plano Fire Dept. Lt. William Ripley as our Master of Ceremonies; he served in the USMC from 1980 to 1984. Our Guest Speaker, Special Forces John Wayne Walding, will share his story of "Courage" and Deanna Joyce Beck, widow of Plano's Casey Joyce, will be the folded flag recipient. This event is a 45 minute ceremony and encourage those to bring chairs for outdoor use.
