Faith Lutheran School conducted its third annual golf tournament on Friday, September 26 at Plano's Los Rios Country Club.

"This golf tournament is an excellent opportunity for us to raise funds for our school, raise awareness about our school and its mission, and for us to simply gather for fun and fellowship together," said Faith Lutheran School Headmaster Rev. Stephen W. Kieser of Plano. "Proceeds will help to improve our technology within our school's classrooms and computer lab and provide our athletic teams the opportunity to replace old uniforms and buy needed equipment."

The event raised more than $5,000, and post-event donations were still coming in following the event.

Event sponsors included Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists of McKinney (Dr. Joshua James), Thrivent Financial (Gerry A. Hughes, CFP, Wealth Advisor), Southwestern Chiropractic and Wellness Center (Dr. Shad Reif), Rebecca Bork D.D.S. Family Dentistry, Lenz Bus Service and Golf Galaxy.
