Faith Lutheran Church in Plano recently announced the church's Lent and Easter schedule of special services:

Ash Wednesday Service: Wednesday, February 18 at 7 p.m.

Lenten Mid-Week Services:
Wednesday, February 25 at 7 p.m.: The Servant's Shame - Isaiah 52:13-15
Wednesday, March 4 at 7 p.m.: The Servant's Sorrow - Isaiah 53:1-3
Wednesday, March 11 at 7 p.m.: The Servant's Suffering - Isaiah 53:4-6
Wednesday, March 18 at 7 p.m.: The Servant's Silence - Isaiah 53:7-9
Wednesday, March 25 at 7 p.m.: The Servant's Success - Isaiah 53:
10-12

Maundy Thursday Service, Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m.

Good Friday: 2 p.m. service and 7 p.m. Tenebrae service.
(Tenebrae (Latin for "shadows" or "darkness") is a Christian religious service celebrated on the evening before or early morning of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday, which are the last three days of Holy Week. The distinctive ceremony of Tenebrae is the gradual extinguishing of candles while a series of readings and psalms is chanted or recited.)

Easter Sunday, Sunday, April 5:
Sunrise Worship Service at 6 a.m.
Easter Sunday Divine Worship Service with Holy Communion at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Children's Sunday School and Adult Bible Study at 9:30 a.m.
