Faith Lutheran School of Plano to host high school open house January 14

On Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 7 p.m.,  Faith Lutheran School of Plano will present a special high school open house event to showcase the school's online and in-person high school offerings.  

The event will be conducted in person with safety protocols in place, but will also be livestreamed at for those who prefer to participate remotely. Faith Lutheran School is located at 1701 E. Park Boulevard in Plano.

The open house event will feature presentations from the school headmaster, high school principal, current high school parents and others speaking about the school's classical Lutheran high school education program, which focuses on cultivating truth, goodness and beauty. The school's accredited college preparatory program includes four years of English, math, history/government, science, music and fine arts, dual credit college classes, honors and non-honors classes and more.

"Our caring faculty and staff are committed to the Lord and take time to get to know each student personally," said Faith Lutheran School headmaster Rev. Stephen W. Kieser. "Faith Lutheran School offers a Christ-centered environment where students grow in their faith."

Faith Lutheran School is fully accredited and provides classes from preschool three-year-olds through grade 12. School curriculum is based on the classical model of education. The school’s educational program also includes both sports and the fine arts. Faith Lutheran School was founded in 1971, when the congregation of Faith Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas established a preschool for children of the congregation.
